3-, 8-, or 24-hours of well-curated adventure in Maine!
3 Hour
The 3-hour race, with mostly on-trail hiking and optional mountain biking, is a perfect introduction to the sport for those new to adventure racing. Past finishers have included toddlers and septuagenarians.
8 Hour
The 8-hour race includes hiking, road biking, optional mountain biking, and canoeing. It's a manageable challenge for anyone willing and able to spend a day roughing it in the woods (provided there's food and beer waiting for them at the finish).
24 hour
The 24-hour race is an extreme challenge, involving multiple hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing stages. Teams race through the day and night (and day again), covering 50 to 100+ miles in total distance.

*This event is a USARA-sanctioned race, and each participant must be a USARA member or hold a one-day USARA license. USARA offers one-day memberships for $8 or annual memberships for $35. Membership includes high-quality medical insurance at USARA events; discounts with USARA-affiliated AR coaches; discounts from more than 200 top outdoor brands; and the knowledge that you're a part of USARA's efforts to support racers and racer directors as we work together to build and improve the sport of adventure racing. All fees go directly toward the operational costs of USARA, ensuring that the organization can best serve the AR community.
For racers who have an annual USARA membership, be sure to enter your name and email address as it is on file with USARA so that you will not be charged for a single-day license.
**Please note when registering: If your teammates do not have a USARA annual membership, you will need to register one teammate at a time. This does not incur any additional fees and you can select to join the same team during registration.
