The Maine Summer Adventure Racing is part of the United States Adventure Racing Association (USARA), the national organizing body of US adventure racing. Since 1998, USARA has sanctioned events, maintained national rankings, hosted the annual USARA National Championship, established robust member benefits including insurance and discounts, and worked to make the sport accessible to new participants. Adventure Racing World Series
The Maine Summer Adventure Racing is also part of the Adventure Racing World Series, the organizing body of adventure racing worldwide.
